Autism Services

Overview

People from middle school through retirement with Autism, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Pervasive Development Disorder-Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS), Asperger Syndrome (AS), and other challenges function best with individualized teaching, and customized educational, vocational, employment, residential, clinical, and therapeutic supports.

Many in this population benefit from specialized support to develop cognitive, education (traditional or functional  academic), social, boundary management, communication, self-help, life management, community, vocational, employment, anger management, and emotional regulation skills. Some in this population report struggling with anxiety, internal fears, sensory overload, executive function impairment, auditory problems, and/or visual distortion that can result in their over-reacting or under-reacting to external stimuli which may impact their  functioning at home, in school, and in the world.

Our Autism services are designed with the whole individual in mind. All services include attention to each individual’s social and emotional needs and are provided in environments that emphasize individual strengths and supportive relationships. All services are community based offering opportunities for community integration and natural supports.
